Equilab

Last night may not have been the best lesson to try the Equilab app that I learned about over on Viva Carlos because K came into the arena as we were all mounting and getting our stirrups adjusted and asked what we did last week (flat lesson and schooling changes over a pole), and what we wanted to do this week. She mentioned we could go on a trail ride and I jumped at that and was like, omg, let's do that. I'm having a crappy week and that sounds amazing!

So, we did an hour-long trail ride through the property, mostly at the walk, and it was exactly what my sanity needed :) Riko led most of the way with his ears pricked and looking around at everything with complete interest. We saw a bunch of deer at the end of one of the fields, and they took off when they saw us, but none of the horses cared. We trotted back to K and then proceeded to take a large loop back to the barn.

But, my ride data isn't very exciting!

  1. It's definitely important to get any and all data! So hey it's a start! :)
